Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police Service are seeking the public's help in identifying those responsible for the theft and abandonment of a piece of construction machinery.
Sometime during the overnight hours of Wednesday June 5, 2019 to Thursday June 6, 2019 a yellow 2017 Caterpillar model 420F backhoe, owned by Barry’s Construction, was stolen from a construction site on Peirson Avenue in Port Elgin.
Then, on June 6, 2019 at 9:45 p.m. the stolen backhoe was recovered in a ditch along a sideroad in the Municipality of Brockton.
