Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle. 

On May 8, 2019 at 10:44 a.m. a 2006 Ford vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot on Edwin Street in the Town of Meaford; then at 7:46 p.m. that same day the vehicle was discovered abandoned on Swarthmore Drive. 

An unknown female suspect, accompanied by a toddler, was observed with the vehicle on Swarthmore Drive at 11:15 a.m., prior to leaving the area in a maroon minivan being driven by an unknown male.  

The female suspect was described as 30 years of age with a thin build, long black hair, and wearing a red sweater and blue jeans.  

A child’s reversible car seat and booster seat were stolen from the Ford car.
