Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police Service are seeking the public’s help in solving a Fail to Remain accident.
On January 16, 2024 at 8:10 p.m. police attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Railway and Peel Streets in Port Elgin. The vehicle accelerated away from police, colliding with a second vehicle on the roadway before fleeing the area.
The vehicle is described as a dark gray or black Hyundai Kona hatchback and may have damage to the front passenger side.
The suspect is described as male with dark shoulder length curly hair, dark facial hair, and wearing a “Great Lakes Unsalted” sweatshirt.
Police would like to speak with a second male described as fair skinned, bald, and wearing glasses, who may have information about this incident.
