Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are seeking the public's help in solving a fail to remain accident involving a pedestrian.
On the morning of August 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. a collision occurred at the intersection of 10th Street East and 2nd Avenue East in which a pedestrian crossing against traffic was struck by an eastbound vehicle, forcing the pedestrian onto the hood before falling to the ground and suffering minor injuries.
The driver continued eastbound on 10th Street East without stopping or reporting to police.
The vehicle is described as a newer model black, or dark-coloured, Nissan SUV, possibly a Murano or Rogue, and there may be damage to the front driver’s side corner near the headlight or on the hood.
