Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the West Grey Police Service are seeking the public's help in solving a rash of thefts in the Town of Durham.
On August 6, 2020 the Durham Ball Diamond pavilion was entered, a Pepsi cooler was damaged, and a set of keys taken. A Works Department shed was entered and hand tools were stolen.
Then, in the early morning of August 9, 2020, outbuildings along Douglas Street were entered and a wheelbarrow, two Dewalt drills with chargers, a Stihl 210 chainsaw, a Black and Decker sander, and vehicle keys were stolen. That same night an attempt was made to steal a motorcycle from an address on Elm Street West, and a jacket was taken. Finally, two male suspects, one in a camo hoodie and one in a yellow jacket, attempted to steal a truck from a business on South Street East, but fled the scene on foot.
