Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public's assistance in solving the following break, enter and theft.
Sometime during the month prior to October 14th unknown thugs entered a cottage located on the East Back Line, east of Proton Station in Grey Highlands.
Several items were stolen including and an antique "Peak Frean" biscuit box, a 1940's era clock, a china cabinet, a porcelain horse with leather harness, a wedding stein, paintings, jewellery, and musical instruments including a banjo and mandolin. Several other unusual collectables were taken. Of concern is a firearm that was stolen. It is described as a 22 calibre semi-automatic Lakefield model 64B rifle.
