Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person who was involved in suspicious activity involving a young student.
On October 6, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. a call was made to police to report an incident involving an adult male who approached a student who was walking along Third Street in Walkerton to attend Brant Central School. The male started a conversation that made the student uncomfortable. The student continued onto school and reported the male party to a teacher. The male party is described as being between 30 and 50 years old. He had brown hair and sunglasses and was wearing a black or blue cotton jacket and blue or brown pants, a tan or black baseball cap, and had a beard but no moustache.
The OPP would like to talk to this man and are asking him to come forward or if you, the public, have any information about the identity of the person involved then you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit a Web Tip at www.crimestop-gb.org.
