Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a serious assault.
On August 30, 2010 police received a report of an assault with a weapon in Brant Township. A female was stopped at a cornfield along Concession 8 southeast of Elmwood when a male walked up and pushed her to the ground. The male, with the threat of a weapon, then proceeded to assault the woman until she kicked herself free.
The suspect is described as a male Caucasian, approximately 30 years old, with reddish brown hair, wearing a red long sleeved shirt with writing on the sleeve and torn blue jeans.
